Little Kidz Montessori, Altnagelvin

Little Kidz nursery was opened in October 2023 and is situated on the grounds of Altnagelvin Hospital, Glenshane Road.

The nursery is open from 7.30am – 6.15pm, Monday through to Friday all year round (with the exception of bank holidays and specified days at Christmas).

We offer both full and part-time places on a weekly basis.

We also offer an ‘open door’ policy where we encourage parents to come and visit the nursery at a time convenient to you.

The nursery is registered with WHSCT and can accommodate and cater for up to 46 children aged 3 months to 5 years. A Special Discount on fees is offered to NHS employees.

Nursery Overview

  • Our UNDER 2 ROOM is registered for 12 children aged from 3 months to 2 years. There is 1 member of staff to every 3 children of which 1 is a Unit Head.
  • Our PRE-SCHOOL ROOM is registered for 15 children aged from 4 years to 5 years. Again, there is 1 member of staff to every 5 children with 1 staff member employed as a Unit Head.
  • Our TODDLER ROOM is registered for 19 very lively children aged from 2 years to 3 years. There is 1 member of staff to every 5 children in this room 1 of which is a Unit Head.
