Our large Pre-School Room has capacity for 16 maturing children aged from 4 – 5 years. We have 1 adult to every 8 children and once again a Unit Head leads her team and is responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of this room.
At our Montessori Daycare Nursery, we recognize that the ages of 4 to 5 are a time of remarkable cognitive, social, and emotional growth. Children at this stage are eager to expand their understanding of the world, refine their independence, and build a strong foundation for future learning. Our Montessori-inspired environment is designed to nurture these qualities through hands-on experiences and child-led exploration.
The Montessori philosophy emphasizes self-sufficiency, and we encourage children to take on more responsibility in their daily activities. Through practical life exercises, such as preparing snacks, caring for plants, and organizing materials, children develop confidence and a sense of autonomy.
At this stage, children experience significant progress in language and literacy. We provide a literacy-rich environment where they engage with phonetic materials and storytelling. Through Montessori activities, children build a strong foundation communication skills.
Social interactions become more complex at this stage, and we support children in developing empathy, cooperation, and conflict resolution skills.
Our Pre-School Room is designed to inspire curiosity and independent discovery. Children have access to a variety of learning materials that align with their interests, enabling them to develop a deep and meaningful understanding of subjects at their own pace.
Our outside play area is located directly off the Pre-School Room to allow the children to be outside and play as much as possible.
